To facilitate this, we have built a service dedicated team of clinical, technical and administrative professionals to deliver this aim to our patients and their families
GRADUATE PROFESSIONALS
All prosthetist orthotists at APOS hold a degree qualification from a recognized university and undergo a rigorous internship when they enter clinical practice. Continuous professional development is a requirement for all health professionals at APOS

SKILLED TECHNICIANS
APOS manufactures a full range of its prostheses and orthoses. Our team of experienced technicians have undertaken comprehensive training including internationally recognized apprenticeships to equip them to make custom devices to the best internationally available standards

MODERN FACILITIES
Our Dublin and Galway centers are fully equipped with purpose designed treatment rooms and accessible, comfortable waiting areas. In addition, we have a network of clinics that take place in healthcare and disability service settings across Ireland

Breda Clancy
BSc (Hons) Prosthetics & Orthotics MBAPO, MISPO, HCPC Reg.
Breda leads her committed team and inspires in them a passion for achieving the best for patients. She has developed a culture where the patient is at the centre of everything we do. Breda drives innovation and research into the latest technology to ensure the best that Prosthetics and Orthotics can offer is available to people in Ireland.
At her happiest when she is innovating and pushing boundaries back for patients. There are athletes and children alike whom have benefited from her mission to ‘restore functional independence.’
Andrew James
All the way from ‘Down Under’. Andrew commands extensive experience and expertise in prosthetic and orthotic manufacture and orthopedic footwear. He has led his team of skilled and dedicated technicians since the founding of the company.
Respected by those he works with for his calm ‘can do’ attitude. Andrew is the foundation stone on which APOS stands.
Darren Mathews
Originally from Co. Louth (Land of Legends). Having spent 18 years in the UK working in Healthcare Darren returned to Ireland and joined APOS in 2007. Bringing orthotic manufacturing experience acquired in the NHS and gaining prosthetic technical knowledge with APOS. Darren has a strong knowledge and skill base in orthotic and prosthetic manufacture.
Building on this Darren has increasingly become involved in systems and business development. He also leads colleagues in developing and implementing product, service, quality and information systems.
